Bushnell Elite 6500 Series
All set to be the next must-have piece of kit for the HFT season, these telescopic sights from Bushnell will deserve the reputation it will inevitably gain for the advantages it could give in competition.
Most importantly, the Japanese made optics on this scope are exceptionally clear and crisp, with a mil-dot reticle for clear and quick target acquisition and adjustment for trajectory at different distances. The optics are such good quality that no compromise has been necessary on lense size - the 42mm objective lense version means the scope maintains a low profile when fitted on the rifle.
The Rainguard protective coating is a permanent hydrophobic lens treatment that causes moisture from rain, snow, sleet and even your breath to bead up and scatter, so your vision stays bright and clear - and that will surely be important in our wet summers!
The 1/4inch MOA finger-adjustable, audible-click turrets are quick and easy to adjust and yet their relatively low profile and screw-on covers lessen the chance of mishaps with zero settings during competitions.
The side parallax is also really smooth and again the discreet profile lessens the chances of accidental parallax adjustment which could be disastrous in a competition where parallax must remain static.
